Our Volleyball Players' Training Program improves your skills through the use of strength and agility exercises. Advanced Sports Training will help you with your setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking. You will develop the muscular power, strength, speed and agility that translate into better play in a game situation. Our program also employs self-mastery training drills that help each student reach their highest possible level of play on the court.
A bit more about a few of the specific components of the Volleyball training program:
Strength Exercises: Slow, controlled movements. The best strength exercises for increasing the vertical jump are squats, lunges and step-ups. These are the best because they are compound movements, which work the knee joint and the hip joint at the same time.
Power Exercises: Explosive quick movements. They include power cleans, plyometrics and weight box jumps.
